"NOVIX Live" is the live mobile streaming application based on NOVIX Sparx that makes
possible streaming of live video from a webcam/handycam/TV Tuner card on to
a mobile device over GPRS networks.
The technology uses NOVIX compression & streaming technologies to
pack high quality video in to a bitrate of just 15 kbps. This makes
the solution suited for usage on basic GPRS networks in developing countries.

Some of the areas where NOVIX Live technologies will find usage are Mobile TV,
remote security surveillance and live event transmission to mobile.
"NOVIX Live" was adjudged as one of the top ten applications in the Nokia Mobile
Rules contest held at San Jose on March 19, 2008.
